Drummond-Philipsburg rolls over Superior Bobcats

The Superior Bobcats had a rough go of it facing the top-ranked team in the state in 8-man football - Drummond-Philipsburg - last week in a 54-22 defeat.

Avery Metesh returned the opening kickoff 68 yards for a Titans touchdown.

The Titans, who improved to 5-0, took a 40-0 halftime lead against the Bobcats.

Orion Plakke tossed touchdown passes covering 8 and 24 yards to Decker Milender in the second half for Superior.

The Bobcats (3-2) are back in action Friday against Seeley Swan. It is also homecoming for Superior.
