Hot Springs bounces back with rout of Gardiner, 58-0
A week after dropping a hard-fought game to Valley Christian, Hot Springs responded with a 58-0 blowout win over Gardiner last Friday at home.
The Savage Heat, ranked No. 8 in 6-man football, got a huge game from senior quarterback Jack McAllister. He threw three touchdown passes, all to speedy senior Kyle Lawson.
Lawson scored on pass plays of 72, 34 and 29 yards.
McAllister also had four TD runs, including 56, 30, 17 and 7 yards.
Freshman Johnny Waterbury had a 11-yard TD run for the Savage Heat.
Hot Springs (4-1) has outscored its opponents 229-59.
The Savage Heat will travel to Noxon (3-2) for a game Friday night. The Red Devils were 2-0 last week.
Another road game at West Yellowstone is set for Oct. 16 and the regular season finale at home against White Sulphur Springs Oct. 22.
