TFalls, Noxon volleyball teams collect wins

The Thompson Falls Lady Hawks swept both matches last week, beating Bigfork in four sets and Mission in three.

Against Bigfork, the Lady Hawks won the first, 25-21, before the visitors came back with a 25-18 win. Thompson Falls rolled in the next two, 25-14 and 25-18.

Scarlett Schwindt had eight kills and 10 digs for Thompson. Avery Burgess had nine kills and Cheyla Irvine added eight digs.

Against Mission, TFalls rolled in a sweep, 25-9, 25-10 and 25-16.

Elli Pardee had 16 assists while Schwindt had 10 kills.

In other action:

Noxon battled with Troy in a five-set win last week.

The Red Devils won the first two, 25-22 and 25-14. But Troy battled back with wins of 28-26 and 25-22.

Noxon regained its composure in the fifth set, 15-8 win.

Emily Brown had a big night with 16 aces, 16 assists and six kills. Riley Richter also enjoyed a strong performance with 19 assists, six aces and five kills.

Seanna Richter had five digs and five kills.

Offensively, Maygan Swanson had seven kills followed by Vanessa Horner’s six and four each from Aubrey Erwin and Mia Vogel.

On defense, Vanessa Horner and Callie Cano each had four digs.
