Missoula woman dies in I-90 crash near Alberton
A Missoula woman died in a one-vehicle traffic crash Sunday morning on Interstate 90 near Alberton in Mineral County.
According to Montana Highway Patrol, a 35-year-old woman was driving a 2005 Honda Pilot west at about 10:15 a.m. when it left the left side of the road, entered the median and rolled into the eastbound lanes of I-90.
The Pilot came to rest on its roof and the woman was declared dead at the scene.
According to trooper Thomas Tafoya, the woman was wearing a seat belt. Drugs, alcohol or speed were not believed to be factors in the crash.
