Local groups take part in March for Life walk in Thompson Falls

The Knights of Columbus Council, in conjunction with the national organization of March for Life, marched on the streets of Thompson Falls last week to raise awareness of the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling which legalized abortion.
The March for Life national organization was founded in 1973 in Washington D.C., and the first March for Life walk was held on the steps of the Capitol building on Jan. 22. 1974.
The March in Thompson Falls has been taking place for over 40 years.
