Arts council hosting meet and greet July 13

“With so many new members to our communities, and for those who already know us, we want to inform and celebrate past accomplishments and upcoming performances,” smiles Jim Goss, Treasurer for the Mineral County Performing Arts Council.
MCPAC is trying something new in the form of a meet and greet from 6 to 8 p.m. at the St. Regis Trestle Creek Golf Course Clubhouse on Wednesday, July 13. Everyone is invited for a no host bar and free appetizers/finger food as they socialize.
"Enjoy some good company, food and drink, and reminisce of our accomplishments and learn about upcoming performances,” Goss explained. "Our intent is to thank the public, but to also reach out to expand our audience and even pick up some new Board members.”
There will be a brief presentation talking about the history of MCPAC, recapturing many of their crowd-pleasing performances and what everyone can expect for their upcoming performance year, which runs from September 2022 through August 2023. While people mingle, they can enjoy a looping PowerPoint showing almost all their past presentations.
MCPAC was formed in 2007 and sponsored a set of informal concerts to immediate public enthusiasm. In 2008 MCPAC established itself as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit. They initiated performance seasons consisting of at least five events which are free to the public except their spring gala which is their only ticketed event."
Just show up as no RSVP is required and bring some friends. While you’re at it, mark your calendars for Montana Shakespeare in the Parks’ 50th anniversary as they perform Twelfth Night at 6pm on August 25th at the Mineral County Fairgrounds.
