Thankful for donation

Sanders County Community Housing Organization (SCCHO) would like to give a round of applause to First Security Bank of Thompson Falls, Plains, and Missoula! SCCHO received a donation of $5,000 from First Security Bank in June.

This donation will help the efforts of SCCHO to provide and promote affordable housing to residents of Sanders County.

According to Lisa Fried de Reyes, the Executive Director of SCCHO, "This donation will directly impact the lives of ten households consisting of workforce, seniors, and school-age children."

Other projects SCCHO is working on is to develop affordable housing in Noxon on a piece of donated land. The Preliminary Architectural Report indicates that this site could support twelve units and house up to thirty-four people.

To begin this project, SCCHO is needing funds and will continue to look to a partnership of private and public funding opportunities.

β€œIn behalf of the staff and board of Sanders County Community Housing Organization, I would like to thank once again First Security Bank for their generosity.”
