Advanced outdoor skills field course in Superior

MISSOULA – Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks hunter education instructors will host an advanced outdoor skills field course near the town of Superior on Saturday, June 18, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The course is free and will be held at the Mineral County Shooting Sports Range (Exit 55, Lozeau) near Superior. Register now at: fwp.mt.gov/hunt/education/advanced-education.

Participants will learn about turkey calling, tree stand hunting, elk calling, blood trailing, hunter ethics, firearm safety, muzzleloaders and more from experienced instructors.

The course does not provide Hunter Education certification, but it is a great addition for those that have already completed that coursework. For Hunter Education course information, visit: fwp.mt.gov/education/hunter-education.
