Legal Notice The following is the ballot statement of an amendment to the Montana Constitution to be submitted to the voters of the state of Montana at the November 8, 2022 General Election. The text below is being published per the requirement of 13-27-311(2) MCA, by Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen. CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT NO. 48 AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION PROPOSED BY THE LEGISLATURE AN ACT SUBMITTING TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF MONTANA AN AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE II, SECTION 11, OF THE MONTANA CONSTITUTION TO EXPLICITLY INCLUDE ELECTRONIC DATA AND COMMUNICATIONS IN SEARCH AND SEIZURE PROTECTIONS. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA: C-48 is a constitutional amendment to amend Article II, section 11 of the Montana Constitution to specifically protect electronic data and communications from unreasonable search and seizures. NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS SANDERS COUNTY, MONTANA SHERIFF'S OFFCE DETENTION FACILITY INMATE COMMUNICATION & TECHNOLOGY SYSTEM August 25, 2022 Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Sanders County, Montana is currently soliciting proposals from qualified inmate communication services vendors for providing local and out of area communication combined with state-of-the-art equipment and technology throughout the Sanders County Detention Facility located at 1115 W Main St, Thompson Falls, MT 59873. All proposals must be labeled 'Detention Inmate Communication System' with 4 copies mailed (1 original and 3 copies) to the Board of County Commissioners, PO Box 519, Thompson Falls, MT 59873 or delivered to their office, Room 204, located on the 2nd Floor the Sanders County Court House Building, 1111 Main Street, Thompson Falls, MT 59873. Proposals must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. September 23rd, 2022. All timely & correctly labeled proposals received by this time and date will be opened and read aloud at 11:00 a.m. September 29, 2022, in the Commissioners Conference Room, 2nd Floor of the Sanders County Court House, Room 204, 1111 Main Street Thompson Falls, MT 59873. Proposals received after the aforementioned time and date will not be considered. All proposals received will be time and date stamped.
