The races had different ages with experienced or beginner contestants. Those that competed in a costume received a 10-second heard start. (Monte Turner/Mineral Independent)
By 1 o’clock, almost 50 kids and cooled off and burned up some energy in the Kid Zone. This feature was sponsored by the Healthy Communities Coalition with the Mineral County Health Department on premise supervising. (Monte Turner/Mineral Independent)
The cornhole tournament drew 25 teams with money being raised for 4-H Shooting Sports and other youth organizations. (Monte Turner/Mineral Independent)
