The 24th Annual Old Schoolhouse Rock Car Show in Superior took place last weekend with near perfect weather, dozens of cars, and hundreds of visitors. The show gives out 27 different awards including a unique belt buckle for best in show. This years gathering was held in memory of Fred Fike. And proceeds from the event go towards six scholarships for locals high school graduates in Mineral County. (Mineral Independent/Amy Quinlivan)

On Saturday June 3, the bright green lawns of the Mineral County Courthouse, TrailWest Bank, and all the way down to the old Schoolhouse were packed with colorful classic cars, vintage camper and truck setups, hots rods, custom rides, and just about any automobile to suit your fancy. Ninety-four entries are close to the most that have participated in the Old Schoolhouse Rock Car Show over the years, but for whatever reason, these beauties seemed incredibly dazzling on Saturday.
Partly sunny, low 70s and a slight breeze may have had something to do with it, but motorized vehicles and campers stretched nonstop from the courthouse lawn, through the TrailWest Bank parking lot and their grass field to the end of the old schoolhouse lawn near the Clark Fork River...
