One can’t miss the new bright pink coffee shop trailer in the Baldy Mountain Tire Shop parking lot in Plains.

Mari Jo Josephson and her daughter Haley Kovarik combined their talents and opened Jo Jos Coffee on June 1. Josephson and Kovarik share the duties offering coffees and breakfast to the drive-up crowd.

Not new to the coffee industry, Josephson first got her start when she opened her first and Plains first coffee shop 20 years ago. Josephson’s dream was to always own a coffee shop.

It took over a month getting the trailer set up, which included lots of discussion about the final color of pink.

Jo Jos Coffee will also be offering a mobile catering service for events like weddings. Kovarik said they hope to expand their menu soon. All breakfast menu items are homemade.

They are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 6:30 a.m. – 3 p.m., and Saturday 7 a.m.-noon. The business is closed Tuesday and Sunday.
