Hot Springs volleyball ousted at divisional tourney
After a late-season surge propelled them into the District 14C finals, which in turn sent them to the Western Division finals as the No. 2 seed volleyball team from the district, the Hot Springs Lady Heat ran into a buzzsaw in the form of teams waiting to take them on.
As a result, Hot Springs lost their first two matches, one against Twin Bridges (3-0) and the other by a similar score to Drummond, closing out their divisional experience and ending a successful season in the process.
The Heat opened divisional play against powerful Twin Bridges, the eventual tournament runner-up and number two seed to the upcoming State Class C Finals in Bozeman, by falling behind 25-12 in the first set of their match at the Manhattan Christian gym in Churchill, MT.
