Choose to believe
I choose to believe that it is possible in a small Montana county to have an ethical, effective system of local government.
I choose to believe that we can have respectful leaders who are willing to set aside any personal bias, agenda or gain for the good of the PEOPLE they represent.
I choose to believe we can have local government leaders who welcome accountability, where community questions or input can be offered without fear of retaliation or bullying by elected/appointed officials.
I choose to believe we can have local government that is fiscally transparent and trustworthy.
I choose to believe we can have community government that will activate reasonable, common-sense solutions without a lot of fuss.
I choose to believe we can have a receptive county government that invites community input (public forums) when prioritizing spending for especially large projects.
I choose to believe we can have a local government that truly, authentically reflects the values of Mineral County: respect, hard work, kindness, trustworthiness, helping a neighbor, honesty, community pride and just generally getting sh*t done without screwing each other over.
I choose to believe.
