COLUMN: Eating crow
I’m sure of only one thing….it tastes really sour and I haven’t had a bite yet.
No, I’m not talking about lutefisk, the smelliest form of “nourishment” on Mother Earth.
And, like lutefisk (cod that has been soaked in lye and served with clothespins firmly attached to the nose by Norwegians everywhere, at least the honest ones) there may not be a way to sweeten it up, or in any way make it edible.
