Clark Fork Valley Press and Mineral Independent celebrate the retirement of Cheri Minemyer and Lisa Larson
The Clark Fork Valley Press and Mineral Independent announce the retirement of two highly regarded longtime employees, Cheri Minemyer and Lisa Larson.
Both will retire at the end of the year. Minemyer and Larson have each dedicated more than a decade of service to the Hagadone family-owned newspapers, and to the communities they serve in Sanders and Mineral counties.
Minemyer, the newspapers' office manager, is known for her intense commitment, huge heart and kindness, and will leave a lasting impression on readers, coworkers and the community.
As the newspapers' sales representative, Larson's loyalty, positivity and ambition have helped hundreds of businesses throughout her tenure. Her ability to effortlessly capture the needs of local businesses and pair them with advertising solutions is remarkable.
"Cheri and Lisa have been the heart and soul of that operation and will do anything to ensure success," said Laurie Ramos, general manager of the two newspapers. "Their dedication, professionalism and passion for putting out top notch newspapers week after week have set a high standard for all of us. We will miss their presence dearly, but wish them all the best in their well-deserved retirement."
Anton Kaufer, regional publisher with Hagadone Media Montana, said it's been an honor to work alongside Minemyer and Larson.
"Their contributions have been invaluable, and their legacy of excellence has inspired all of us," Kaufer said. "We thank them for their years of service and wish them happiness and fulfillment in their next chapter."
As the company celebrates their retirement, they also welcome Ilona Khachaturova and Jodi Jameson to the team. Both have already settled into the office in Plains and have been working closely with Larson and Minemyer to ensure a smooth transition.
The company will host a community celebration honoring the changing of the guard at these papers later this winter. Check for details in the Clark Fork Valley Press and Mineral Independent in the coming weeks.
