It was a holiday sweep for the Thompson Falls boys’ and girls’ basketball teams at the expense of Class C Seeley-Swan this past Friday night in T Falls.
The Lady Hawks got the doubleheader rolling when they exploded to an 18-5 lead over the Blackhawks who came in with a 4-1 season mark as members of the Western 13C conference.
The second quarter was a defensive standoff, sprinkled with cold shooting, as T Falls, a Western 7B conference contender, outscored the visitors 5-4, giving them the Lady Hawks a 23-9 halftime advantage.

But the Blue Hawks were able to quell that Anaconda comeback bid and extend the final margin of victory to 64-50.

The third quarter belonged to Anaconda as the Lady Copperheads offense added 11 points to their halftime lead, giving them a 50-31 advantage heading into the final eight minutes of play.
That edge proved to be too much for T Falls to overcome as they fell to the Lady Copperheads by a 62-46 count.
