As advertised, the St. Regis Lady Tigers are not a team to be overlooked in high school basketball’s postseason battles.
The Tigers put a stamp on that thought Saturday afternoon when they won the consolation round at the District 14C tournament in Polson, keeping their playoff hopes alive.
The hard-fought 37-33 win over Two Eagle River (TER) propelled the Lady Tigers into a play-in game versus Lincoln from the 13C conference for the right to represent the two conference as a number three seed.
