Chaberek retires as Mineral County librarian
Guna Chaberek, Mineral County librarian, presents Connie Acker with a beautiful bighorn sheep plaque as a sincere thank you for all her years as the Alberton branch librarian at her retirement celebration Feb. 15. “Connie innovated on the solid foundation created by the librarians before her,” said Chaberek. “She arranged several very successful wine-tasting fundraisers and increased the usage of the branch to a great degree. The library board has commended her on multiple occasions, and we are all very grateful for her dedicated service to the branch and patrons.”
