Mineral County Chamber of Commerce meetings are the first Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. and are open to the public with encouragement of businesses to participate. The next one is May 1. Info 406-370-5915.

Mineral County Transportation. Mineral County residents can schedule rides to Missoula or medical runs inside Mineral County with the Pioneer Council. (406) 552-7003.

Plains Community Food Bank hours are Tuesdays 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. 300 Clayton St. Plains.

VFW Auxiliary in Plains hosts a veterans lunch every third Thursday of the month from noon-2 p.m. Veterans eat free.

Plains Public Schools Board of Trustees meet the 3rd Monday of each month, 7 p.m. at the high school library. See the agenda at plainsschools.com.

Town of Superior Council. Meets the second Monday of each month.

The Mineral County Economic Development Corp. Board of Directors monthly meetings the first Tuesday of every month at 1 p.m. at the Mineral County Commissioner meeting room, in the Mineral County Courthouse, 300 River Street, Superior.  For more info regarding meeting times and dates as place and date may change, see their Facebook page “Mineral County Economic Development” or email  “mcedc54@blackfoot.net.  All meetings are open to the public.

Mineral County Kinship Navigator Project. In person meetings at local Mineral County cafes weekly. Contact AnnaMarie White (406) 396-1937 text/call anytime. The mission is to maximize kinship caregiver’s ability to provide safe, stable, and (if needed) permanency for the children they are raising. To reduce kinship caregiver stress and increase the well-being of kinship families; and maintain sustainable, collaborative partnerships to maximize kinship family resource support reach across Montana.

Pathways To Serenity AA group meets in St. Regis every Monday,  6:30 p.m. at the Senior Center, 209 Lobo Loop. Door is open at the west side of the building. Look for the AA placard.

Addiction Recovery Group meets at the Plains LDS church at 6 p.m. and/or a support group for families who have loved ones caught in addiction following at 7:30 p.m. Both groups will follow a 12-week plan based on the 12 steps of recovery centered around the AA program with an emphasis on healing through the Lord Jesus Christ.
