| January 24, 2024 12:00 AM

Lorelei Joyce (White) Dove, 59, passed away on Jan. 16, 2024 in the comforts of home with family by her side. Lori fought a courageous battle against cancer.

Born Jan. 24,1964 to Loran Clyde White & Celia Lanum (White) Higgins in Superior, where she planted roots of her own. Marrying the love of her life, Ron Dove, in March of 1984, completing her family with their daughter Brandy.

Everyone was proud of Lori when she returned to school and received her GED which she used to become a very useful member of Mineral County. To name a few, Lori dispatched at the Sherriff’s Office, was owner/operator of Dove Trucking with Ron, was an EMT and bookkeeper for the Superior Area Ambulance Service, volunteer and president for the Mineral County Search and Rescue, and latest venture, Disaster & Emergency Services Coordinator for Mineral County. One of her greatest joys while part of Search and Rescue was the organization of the Annual Easter Egg Hunt held in Superior.

Lori loved to travel and camp, her favorite camp spot was anywhere near Yellowstone National Park. She could have been a tour guide and absolutely loved sharing the park's beauty and wonder with her two grandsons.

Lori’s greatest achievement and title of all time was “Grandma” or “G-ma”. She was Roper and Sawyer’s biggest fan, rarely ever did she miss a sporting event, concert or anything grandson related.

Lori is survived by her husband Ron, daughter Brandy (Travis) Woodard, grandsons Roper and Sawyer, brother Loran (Tammi) White, nephew Weston, sister Melonni (Jim) Moland and niece Amanda. Lori was preceded in death by both her parents and sister Kim Smith.

In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to Superior Fire Dept. PO Box 729, Superior MT 59872 with a memo note “Easter Egg Hunt.”
