TOWN OF SUPERIOR SUPERIOR, MT 59872 PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING On August 7, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, at 105 Cedar Street, Superior, Montana the Council will meet for the purpose of fixing the final budget for the Town of Superior for fiscal year 2024-2025. The preliminary budget for fiscal year 2024-2025 has been completed and placed on file and is open to inspection in the Town Clerk’s Office. Any taxpayer may appear at this meeting and be heard for or against any part of the budget. All community members are invited to participate in the fourth and final workshop on August 05, 2024, at 6:00 PM at the St. Regis Community Center, 230 Lobo Loop, St. Regis, MT. Discussion topics will include a review of previous workshop topics, review of final alternatives for consideration, ranking the final alternatives in order of community preference, and consideration of any final community feedback to be included in the final feasibility study. BNSF Railway Company is proposing to construct a 15.2 meter tall Monopole Tower, approximately at 277 Cedar Creek Rd in Superior, MT at 47° 10’ 48.8’’ N, 114° 52” 22” W. The structure will be equipped with steady red lights, or alternate lighting as determined by the FAA. Interested persons may review BNSF’s application for Antenna Structure Registration by entering Form 854 File No. A1289562 at www.fcc.gov/asr/applications and may raise environmental concerns regarding the proposed structure by filing a Request for Environmental Review with the Federal Communications Commission. PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The Town of Superior will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 12, 2024, 6:30 pm, in the Council Chambers at 105 Cedar Street, Superior, MT for the purpose of obtaining public comments regarding a proposed application to the Montana Department of Commerce’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and other programs, as applicable, for a Food Bank New Construction Project located in the Town of Superior, Montana. At the public hearing, the proposed project will be explained, including the purpose and proposed area of the project, activities, budget, possible sources of funding, and any costs that may impact local citizens as a result of the project. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to ask questions and to express their opinions regarding this proposed project. Comments may be given orally at the hearing or submitted in writing before August 13, 2024 at 5:00 pm.
