Mineral County DUI Task Force provides rides at fair

The Mineral County DUI Task Force has contracted with Superior Taxi to provide free rides home from the fair on Friday and Saturday nights for adults who have had too much to drink.

The taxi will be located off the fairgrounds near the beer booth marked by orange traffic cones. From 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. rides will be on a first come-first serve basis between Alberton and St. Regis.

 Riders requesting transportation are asked to remain at the taxi site for the next available vehicle in the event there isn’t one when they arrive. T

he taxi driver has the right to refuse ridership for use of abusive language or threatening actions.
