PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The Town of Superior will hold a public hearing on Monday March 11, 2024, 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers at 105 Cedar Street, Superior, MT to discuss the Town’s wastewater system improvements project as well as the funding available to complete the project. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to ask questions and to express their opinions regarding this proposed project. The Mineral County Board of Commissioners are requesting proposals for the facilitation to update the Mineral County Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP). 1.0 PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES Mineral County of Montana seeks facilitation services and technical expertise for the update and modernization of its 2018 Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP). In accordance with the 2020 update to the Montana Forest Action Plan, this updated CWPP will be used to aid in planning and prioritizing wildfire risk reduction work at the county-scale. We will also ensure that such work is aligned with community values and identify the resources and funding necessary to accomplish the desired work. Estimated Project timeline: April 2024- March 2025. This RFP, therefore, is to acquire proposals from contractors who can: Provide technical assistance for the entirety of the CWPP update process; Provide for limited data analysis and interpretation; Provide for extensive stakeholder engagement; Provide for adequate public input through community meetings throughout the process; Provide platform(s) where the public can provide input throughout the process; Provide meeting planning and facilitation with County, Mineral County Resource Coalition, other Stakeholders, and Community; Provide technical writing for completion of the CWPP update; and Provide publishing of the final CWPP product in document and digital format (e.g., StoryMap, etc.).
