This is shaping up to be a pretty good year for Sanders and Mineral counties' high school track and field teams, as indicated by Superior’s girls and Hot Springs’ boys following the Dave Tripp Track meet this past weekend in Polson.

The Superior Lady Bobcats won the team title with a score of 73 points, edging out runner up Valley Christian in the final standings.

Hot Springs’s boys showed they are a force with which to be reckoned when they amassed 86 teams points at the Dave Tripp meet, giving them the team title by 12 points over second-place Drummond.

Other bi-county teams who fared well in Polson included Hot Springs’ girls (sixth) and St. Regis girls (eighth).
