Body of missing Missoula woman found in Clark Fork River

Authorities over the weekend recovered the body of a missing Missoula woman from the Clark Fork River.
According to the Mineral County Sheriff's Office, Megan Babbitt's body was found in the river near the Quartz Rest Area.
The 39-year-old's body was sent to the Montana Crime Lab for an autopsy.
"Ms. Babbitts’s family has been notified, and we send our sincere condolences to her family and loved ones," the Sheriff's Office stated in a press release.
Babbitt was last seen at her home in Missoula on April 25. Her vehicle was later found at the westbound rest area.
