Cabin Fever Quilt Show the biggest ever
The members of the Mineral County Cabin Fever Quilters Guild really know how to put the old adage "many hands make light work" into action!
Quilt show chairman, Naomi Mesenbrink, was surrounded by over 25 volunteers at the 24th annual quilt show this year. With new signage guiding the public, they experienced record numbers of roughly 250 attendees on Friday alone.
In 24 years, this was their largest show ever with 130 quilt exhibits and 33 participants.
While Mesenbrink adds, "We are simply outgrowing our venue", numerous updates were made throughout this year's quilt show.
The "American Beauty" themed show was enhanced with the artistic display of Featured Quilter Laura Diko, along with two vendors, The Fabric Pixie of Plains and Ladybug's Cabin of Bigfork.
