Philpp Bernard Schaer with his wife Isabelle and their sons Thomas and Rafael stopped in Superior on their bicycle journey from Vancouver Island, British Columbia to Denver. They hail from Montana, Switzerland which is a town of 2,200 people. Snacks from Darlow’s, a night (and shower) at the Big Sky Motel with breakfast planned at Durango’s was enough to convince them that Mineral County was delightful.
