Janine Jaques, 69
Janine (Morgan) Jaques was born on Oct. 25, 1955 in Rigby, Idaho to Wayne and Margaret Morgan. She passed away on Feb. 2, 2025 in Plains, Montana.
Janine and her family moved to Hot Springs after she was born where her father started Morgan Honey Company. In 1967, the family moved to the "ranch" where Janine would live out the rest of her childhood. Janine attended school in Hot Springs and graduated in the spring of 1974.
Janine married Jim Jaques on May 10, 1974. Shortly after getting married, Janine and Jim moved to San Diego, California as Jim served in the United States Navy. After completing his service, they moved back to Missoula, Montana in 1976. After a year in Missoula, they moved back to Hot Springs so that they could join in on the family bee business.
After many years in Hot Springs, and raising four children, Janine moved to Kalispell where she received her associates degree from Flathead Valley Community College. She then went to work as a medical assistant at Woodland Clinic.
Janine later moved to Plains, Montana, closer to family and surrounded by good friends that she enjoyed tremendously. Janine enjoyed many things in life including camping, spending time with family and friends, and finding all the good deals at the thrift store.
Janine was preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Margaret, siblings Bob and Kathy, and her great grandson Jared Paul. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Ann and Lucky Howser, brother Kenny Morgan, sister and brother-in-law Becky and Keith Steinbach; children Kasey (Kelly) Jaques, Jaimie Lee, Ben (Yenta) Jaques and Aaron (Julie) Jaques; grandchildren Clayton (Emma), Corbin, Shelby, Eric, Ashlyn, Traedon, Taylah, Brendan and Aubrey; and many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
Janine did not want a funeral service, but instead asked family and close friends to gather, share stories, and eat good food, which is something all Morgan's love to do!
