Kimberly Dawn Andrews, 59
Kimberly Dawn Andrews passed away unexpectedly in Dayton, NV, on Dec. 4, 2024. Kimberly Dawn was born in Kirkwood MO on Sept. 3, 1965.
The daughter of Doyle Prince and Sue Jostad. Kim graduated from Superior High School in 1983, joined the Army directly after graduation (served 6.5 years), and received a BA in social work from West Virginia University. Kim worked at the VA for 24 years and retired in 2023. Kim has been working at Community Roots in the Nursery department for the last couple of years and loved being around all the plants and people.
Kim loved spending her days outdoors on the trails with her beloved dog, Harper, collecting rocks and splashing in the water. Many afternoons you could find Kim helping a friend or getting her hands dirty in her garden. Kim enjoyed her early mornings and evenings with her two wild kitties, Zuri and Vertigo. Kim was always willing to help and support anyone she could; she was very involved in her community. Kim had a zest for life. Kim never stopped learning and growing as a person, gaining wisdom and knowledge in all things. Kim will always be remembered for her amazing heart, caring spirit, beautiful light, welcoming smile and her always ready to help attitude.
She leaves behind a very loving family, including Mother, Sue Jostad (Roger), Sisters- Kelly Jostad, Ericka Hartley (Paul), Becky Prince (Jason), Stepsister, Rone' Smith (Ramon) and Stepbrother, Kelly John Forrest, Nephews- Warren Jostad, Connor Hartley, Chayse Hartley, Sheamus Shannon and Liam Shannon. Proceeded in Death, by Father, Doyle Prince and beloved Maternal Grandmother, Dorothy Miller. Kim will always be loved and remembered by extended family members and community members.

A Celebration of Life was held at Silver City, Nevada on Dec. 14, 2024. A military burial will be held at the Superior Cemetery, Superior, MT, at a later date, to be announced.
