PUBLIC NOTICE This is to notify all interested parties that the Sanders County Council on Aging will be requesting financial assistance from the Montana Department of Transportation and the Federal Transit Administration. The Council on Aging is applying for a Transportation Administrative/Operating grant in the amount of $226,677.00. The Council on Aging is also applying for capital funds to purchase one 9-passenger, handicap accessible, van in the amount of $125,050.00 for the Sanders County Transportation to utilize in its public transportation services. The grant is funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and administered by the Montana Department of Transportation. The application is on file at 203 Main Street, Hot Springs, MT. This is to notify all interested parties the Mineral County Pioneer Council is applying to the Montana Department of Transportation for the following grant funds for FY 2026: $7,045 under 5311 and $6,792 in TransADE operating funding for their transportation service.
