Rices celebrate 50th anniversary

David and Gayla Rice celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary over the 4th of July weekend. Their love story began under the sparkle of fireworks at the Missoula County Fair the summer of their junior year as students of Hellgate High School. They tied the knot in 1975 and soon moved to Superior, Montana where they have made their home ever since. David’s career as an engineer required extensive travel, while Gayla worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Mineral Community Hospital. Their son, Elijah, was born in 1980, forming the perfect triangle of love.
