The Mineral County Parents as Teachers program put on their annual summer Dino Dig event on Saturday, July 19.

After each digger discovered a bone, they were tasked with bringing it back to the beach blanket and working to identify what they found. Though leaders and participants couldn't agree on how long the digs have been going on, it's anyone's guess how many years, or even how many bones were dug up that day.  (Mineral Independent/Amy Quinlivan)
