Louise Robb Miles, 91
Louise Robb Miles, 91, of Superior died Dec. 7, 2024 at her home surrounded by family.
Louise was born Sept. 21, 1933, in Missoula to James and Geraldine Robb. She moved to Superior in 1947 and lived with Uncle Walt Robb and Aunt Florence. She graduated as valedictorian from Superior High School in 1951.
On July 28, 1951, she married Roy T. Miles, and they made their home in Superior. Louise and Roy were blessed with three daughters, seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Louise wore many hats in her lifetime, but the banking industry meant the most to her. Louise spent 27 years working in banking in Superior.
She took many trips on horseback with Roy and friends. Her favorite place to ride was Greenwood. Louise and Roy also spent many years at their cabin up Fish Creek. She was an avid reader and enjoyed regular visits to the Mineral County Library. Keeping Louise in books was a full-time job. She also loved cards and games, and every Wednesday was game day when Louise and "the girls" as she referred to her dear friends, devoted the entire day to games.
Louise is survived by her daughters Chris (Susie) Crabb of Missoula, Kim (Danny) Eastman of Polson, and Pam (Fred) Warneka of Superior; seven grandchildren, Charlie and Matt Crabb, Addi and Alan Eastman, and Josh, Luke and Lindsay Warneka; and thirteen great grandchildren.
Graveside service will take place at the Superior Cemetery, Saturday June 21, 2025 at 1 p.m. Refreshments following.
