Solid, all-around players and a pair of scoring machines top the list of local Class B boys and girls all-state and all-Western conference selections released this past week.

Thompson Falls, the regular season boys’ Western 7B champions, and the T Falls girls, the conference runner-up this year each had an all-state selection and three picks for the all-conference squads.

Senior forward Bryon LeCoure, who helped the Blue Hawks to the state B finals this season, was named to the all-state team and the 7B first team.  The 6-3 multiple sport standout was routinely a top scorer and rebounder for the 19-6 Hawks.

LeCoure was joined on the boys all-state and all-conference first team by Mission’s high-scoring junior LaFrombois, who led the Bulldogs in scoring throughout the year.

The T Falls girls were represented on the all-state team by standout junior forward Gabi Hannum, who was a regular statistical leader for the Lady Hawks this season during their 15-9 season.

Mission’s Cora Matt, like LaFrombois a regular atop the Bulldogs scoring list most of the season, was also chosen to the all-state and all-conference teams.

Mission’s girls, the regular season and District champion, had four players named to the two all-star teams.  In addition to Matt, the Lady Bulldogs had two 7B first teamers in senior Kason Page and sophomore Kieran Incashole.

Superior had one first team all-conference pick, senior forward Braelynn Mangold.  The was joined on the all-star list by second team all-conference guard Josie Crabb, a sophomore floor general for the Lady Bobcats.

Joining Hannum on the all-star selection list were teammates Addy Deal, a sophomore forward, and second team selection Solveig Nygaard, a junior guard.

Plains sophomore forward Ava Lawyer was named to the 7B second team.

The Plains boys placed two players on the 7B second team, seniors Zayden Allen and Darren Standeford.

LeCoure’s T Falls teammates Sam Burgess a senior named to the 7B first team roster, and Kaiden Robins, a senior guard, who was chosen as a second team all-conference player.

Superior’s super-sophomore duo of guard Gannon Quinlan and 6-4 post Landon Richards made the 7B second team.

Eureka had two players named to the boys' all-conference team and two on the girls’ all-conference squad.
