Piatigorsky Foundation performance in Superior April 10
The Mineral County Performing Arts Council is a non-profit organization that has been bringing talented artists since 2007 to a wide array of musical venues. The Wardens from Canada were enjoyed recently to one of the largest audiences in recent memory and on Thursday, April 10 in a 180-degree format shift, Quing Li and Vladimir Vlaljarevic’ from the Piatigorsky Foundation perform at 7 p.m. in the LDS Church 117 Moats Lane in Superior.
Ms. Li is currently a violin faculty artist of the Peabody Conservatory of Music. She is also a faculty artist of the NYO-China, a Carnegie Hall project, and is active in International Festivals throughout US, Asia and South America. Born in Beijing China, Ms. Li began violin studies at age 4 with her father.
At age 12, Qing Li was accepted to the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. Astonishing in her musical versatility, Qing Li brings great warmth, poise and insight to her music making.
