Photos by Ed Moreth A bison wanders from the main herd for open house at the National Bison Range. Officials opened additional roads for five hours Friday for visitors, although most of the bison herd moved into a new grazing area, out of sight of visitors, unless they drove by on Highway 212.

Bison hide for open house
A midst scattered snowflakes, rain and sunshine, more than 40 people took advantage of the National Bison Range's open house Friday in search of bison and other wildlife.
