Local Plains woman Carol Fryxell celebrated her 75th birthday Sept. 28 when her daughter took her for a joy ride to Polson in her favorite car, a red Corvette. Her daughter had mentioned to a family friend that she would like to take her mom on a ride in a "Vette" for Carol's 75th birthday.
