By mid-morning on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend parking was scarce and traffic was heavy in the little town of St. Regis that hosted its annual flea market at the community park. Hundreds of visitors walked to the park or caught the free shuttles provided by the St. Regis Community Council. Not only were the park grounds filled with vendors and sellers but also properties along Montana 135 had tents lined up for guests to come shop. Pleasant weather lended itself to impressive crowds shopping all day long and many vendors happily running low on inventory. All around it was a perfect weekend for the return of this beloved event following last year's cancellation due to the pandemic. (Amy Quinlivan/Mineral Independent)
