Happy Fall! Autumn began Sept. 22, and what better way to usher in the new season than displaying local bounties of the harvest. Paula and Curtis Mintz of St. Regis are known for their colorful and nostalgic display of vintage tractors near their home along Montana 135. Curtis worked on the tractor and Matt Eisenbacher, another St. Regis resident, loaned them the old John Deere manure spreader to be used as a backdrop for this festive fall display. Paula said, "Matt painted and fixed that old sorry looking spreader then brought the corn stalks up to add to the display." Even District Representative Denley Loge offered up gatherings from his harvests, he and Eisenbacher both contributed from their crops, bales of hay, baskets of apples, and pumpkins. Paula said the purpose to for creating the such a delightful arrangement, “It's kinda fun and God only knows we all need an uplift about now!” (Amy Quinlivan/Mineral Independent)
