Sheelia Miller, left, and Shirley Iwata serve cake at the Grand Opening of the Superior Skatepark to a crowd who also enjoyed hamburgers, chips and beverages on a cold and windy Saturday morning. Dedication announcements were given by Superior Mayor, Roni Phillips, Brenda Schneider, Town of Superior and Jeff Ament of Pearl Jam. The park is open and free for rad skating.

New Superior skatepark rolls into action
The weather was chilly, but the excitement was sizzling as the Superior Skate Park held its Grand Opening on Saturday, April 9.
