It was two years ago last week ago that the U.S. military left Afghanistan and 13 service members were killed. “People appear to have forgotten this tragic loss and this memorial is in their honor,” said Dan Arnsan, USMC Vietnam combat veteran. Dan and his wife, Barb, along with the Lloyd Riding VFW Post 6238 in Superior set this memorial up each year on Deep Creek Road at the Arnsan residence.
