There are over 200 veterans interned between the Superior and Quartz Cemeteries, including 5 Civil War veterans. 47 are resting in the DeBorgia Cemetery. On Memorial Day, the Honor Guard from the Lloyd Riding Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6238, laid a wreath into the Clark Fork River from the Veterans Bridge in Superior. They then held formal military ceremonies at the Superior and Quartz Cemeteries with a modest crowd honoring those who never returned from wars.
