Tricon, community gather to help one of their own
ST. REGIS – Tricon Timber and the county community came together to help one of their own, Saturday, holding a benefit auction to raise money for a resident who had lost everything.

WEST YELLOWSTONE – The Savage Heat football team from Hot Springs dominated their opponents away from home on Saturday easily dispatching the team 71 to zero. The team applied relentless pressure in the first half on offense and defense repeatedly stopping drives by their challengers and scoring touchdowns in the hands of nine different players.

When the choral ensemble Dolce Canto first visited Mineral County, they were a small act with only eight members but on Thursday the ensemble returned over 30 strong to perform there “Serenity and Stillness” holiday show at the Superior Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Paradise Elelemntry puts on a show for the community
PARADISE-For the last 20 years, Ruth Winkler has been putting on plays at Paradise Elementary School. After a fire burned down her home and all the costumes for the latest play, there were questions about whether the play could continue. With the help of volunteers from the community, Winkler kept the streak alive and was able to put on “Cinderella.”
