St. Regis School District included on Governor Brian Schweitzer's budget for the 2015 Biennium Quality School Grant
St. Regis, Montana, November 27, 2012 -- St. Regis School District is included on the Governor’s budget for Quality School Grant funds as requested by the district earlier this year. St Regis a K-12 school district in Mineral County submitted a proposal for ADA upgrades to the library restroom, gym seating, ADA access to the stage and locker rooms in a budgeted amount of $185,837. The district approved up to 20% in matching funds to pay for ineligible costs such as legal, audit, and administrative fees. Superintendent Hanson explained the written letters of support from individuals, business owners, community agencies, and our state representative Gordon R. Hendrick were certain to have played a large part in the district’s success.

St. Regis bazaar fills Community Center with unique holiday gifts
The annual Christmas Bazaar was held at the Community Center in St. Regis on Dec. 10. Coordinators Kathy Koepke and Ilene Wolff said they had more vendors than they’ve had in the past, with 32 tables filled with crafts, food, and collectables.

Treasures and trinkets at St. Regis Christmas bazaar
Some shoppers were there looking for the perfect present for Grandma, while at the same time some grandmothers were sitting at booths selling handmade gifts themselves. The annual St. Regis Christmas Bazaar was held on Saturday at the St. Regis Community Center. Over a dozen vendors set up tables offering a splendid variety of treasures, goodies, and trinkets.

Tigers golfers win on home course
The Tigers boys blistered the Trestle Creek Golf Course on the edge of town for a 345 team total over the 18-hole layout to clinch the team title by a wide margin over runner up Thompson Falls, 345-397.
Fourth of July celebrated
Hundreds of on-lookers lined Old US Highway 10 in downtown St. Regis Monday afternoon to enjoy the Fourth of July Parade. The parade kicked off a day full of events to celebrate the national holiday.

Medical foundation fundraiser June 25
Mineral Co. conducts screening for COVID-19
June 22 and 23 the Mineral County Health Department conducted drive-thru testing for COVID-19 at four different locations in the area. Last Monday testing sites were held in St. Regis and Deborgia, and on Tuesday, Alberton and Superior both had drive-through testing spots available.
