Fire destroys residence in St. Regis
Fire destroyed a St. Regis residence on Sept. 20. Fire crews from St. Regis, Superior, West End and the U.S. Forest Service responded. It is believed someone was transported to the Mineral County Hospital. Officers from the Montana Highway Patrol and Mineral County Sheriff’s Office also assisted at the scene. Burn season closed starting June 3
The Superior Ranger District stopped issuing burn permits for all debris burning, including burn barrels, on June 3. In accordance, after this date, burning will be closed.
