The St. Regis girls ended up losing to Clark Fork in their opening game last Tuesday, but Coach Janelle Pruitt thought that they played a good game.

The St. Regis Lady Tigers had a rough game against Noxon coming out of Christmas break last week as they returned to the courts. Coach Janelle Pruitt called it a “very hard” game for the team. The girls ended up losing 11-62.

Thompson Falls thespians entertain with Red Riding Hood
THOMPSON FALLS- Around 200 residents of Thompson Falls came out to support the performance of “Red Riding Hood” put on by children ranging in age from six years to 17 years of age. Organized by the Missoula Children’s Theatre, the play featured about 60 kids from Thompson Falls schools, directed by MCT members Allie Kauling and Steven Thomas and accompanied by Rebecca Haag. Assistant directors Asher Evans, Whitney Micklon and Zack Bloom helped coordinate behind the scenes activity.

The sky lanterns are structures designed with a thin paper shell and either a suspended candle ignites a fuel source or a fuel cell composed of a waxy flammable material – essentially having an exposed flame.
