Last fall, Joanie Merriman took a photo of a run-away yak near the Superior post office. Reports were that the yak had escaped from a trailer when the owner had stopped in town.

Cub Scout Pack 4953 of St. Regis held an award ceremony on April 1. Weblos, Ben Lohman and Shane Honeycutt, along with Wolf’s, Cameron Anderson and Micheal Kelley received badges, pins and a belt loop for their participation.
