Forest seeks to bury power lines at Quartz Campground
The Superior Ranger District is asking for public feedback on the proposed Missoula Electric Cooperative Quartz Campground Project located along Interstate 90 on Forest Service lands in Mineral County.
Christmas Reenactment Dec. 13 & 14
A reenactment of that holy night will take place in the yard beside the Superior Assembly of God chuch at the end of Second Ave. East at 6:30 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 13 and 14 Free cookies, hot chocolate and hot cider will be served in the foyer of the church where you can get warm. The "Live Nativity" will be performed with the heavenly host, shepherds, wise men, Mary & Joseph, baby Jesus, sheep and a donkey. Everyone is welcome to stop by and enjoy this wonderful time of the year.

- Heather Hotchkiss, 26, was arrested on July 1, 2016 for criminal possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. She has been released to Tracy Bullard of Superior without posting bond. She has to wear a drug patch and will be subject to random UA testing. Her sentence is set for July 10, 2017.

Arthur Thomas “Tom” Mattfeldt passed away on Sept. 26, 2015. Tom was born on July 27, 1949 in Denver, Colo. He lived in Superior, Mont. all of his adult life.
