Letter to the Editor: The bear facts

Praise God! Kudos to Cody, Koliss and ALL the young men involved here enabling them to give this young man, Sam McCreary the hunt of a lifetime. God was sure watching over the hunt, from beginning to end, making it exciting for everyone involved. What a great feeling it had to be for everyone involved. Could not read this without crying. Thank you for putting something great in the paper!

A small crowd gathered at the pole vaulting site during the 8B District Track Tournament at Kalispell Saturday. Most of the converging spectators were Thompson Falls athletes there to cheer on one of their own. Brian Schenavar had already secured first place at the pole vault with a height of 14 feet, 3 inches. Now the senior wanted to clear 15 feet to break his own record of 14 feet, 10 inches.
